5 Days A Week on the Water
Watching anyone reel in their first Cobia is exciting, but for Master Captain Shawn Weaver, seeing his stepson pull one in and then appearing in Wood-N-Water Magazine, is a prized memory. It’s moments like that which keep Cpt. Shawn, a Keaton Beach native and Army vet, on the water and smiling. When he’s not scalloping, spearfishing, or tournament fishing with his family, he’s guiding his clients through some of Florida’s sweetest fishing spots five days per week.
To get to those honey holes, he cites his Sundance’s tunnel hull as one of most attractive features. “It lets me get much shallower than other boats around me” says Shawn. That feature mixed with structural integrity was among the biggest appeals when finalizing his decision to purchase a Sundance versus other boat brands.
